Background
The Washington State Farmworker Housing Trust was established in 2003 through the leadership of U.S. Senator Patty Murray to aid the efforts of organizations and individuals who have been working on farmworker housing in communities across Washington state. Senator Murray believes that we have a unique opportunity to show the nation that the challenge of providing decent, affordable farmworker housing can be met if people with differing perspectives work together to find common ground.

Mission
The mission of the Washington State Farmworker Housing Trust is to create a better and more sustainable agricultural community in Washington state by securing and investing resources to address the full spectrum of housing and related needs of farmworkers in our state.
